Oklahoma Homeschool Summary

If you are homeschooling in the state of Oklahoma, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Complete 180 days of instruction. Make sure to document your days of school throughout the year to meet the 180-day requirement.
  2. Start instruction at the age of 5 and continue until the student is at least 18.  Oklahoma requires that home instruction follow compulsory school age laws requiring children ages 5-18 to be enrolled in school.
