Indiana Homeschool Summary

If you are homeschooling in the state of Indiana, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Keep Attendance. Even though you are not required to notify your school district of your “intent to homeschool,” you must keep an attendance record to provide if you are ever asked by the school district.
  2. Know your attendance days for your local school district. The normal attendance total is 180 days, but you might want to verify with your own school district.
