California Homeschool Summary

If you are homeschooling within the state of California, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Submit an affidavit to your local superintendent between October 1st and October 15th of each school year. Click here to download the affidavit.
  2. Immunization records are required for students in Kindergarten and 7th grade. If you have indicated you are homeschooling through our program, and are in Kindergarten or 7th grade, you will need to provide us with a copy of your updated immunization records. We will need these records by November 1st. 
  3. Take attendance of each student on a daily basis, showing a full day/half day/or absence for school.
  4. Know the required subjects children between 1st and 12th grades must take.
