Everything you need to know about Bridgeway and NCAA
When your student is an elite athlete, there is nothing more important for securing their future than making sure they are following NCAA qualifications and regulations. Over the past 15 years of working with NCAA, we have helped many students achieve their goals both athletically and academically.
Bridgeway has 2 programs available for NCAA students.
- Homeschool Umbrella Program. NCAA added the Homeschool Umbrella program to their options for students for the 2016-17 school year, and we have a cleared status for this program. Students enrolling in the Homeschool Umbrella program must enroll in our Total Care Textbook program. These students are still seen as homeschooled students in the eyes of NCAA, but we can now upload transcripts on their behalf. Click here to view the cleared status.
- Non-Traditional Online Program. Currently, we are “In Review” for our Elite Athlete and/or Online program, which is the same status we had last year. However, our new partnership with Edgenuity means that every course is automatically approved by NCAA. Best of all, you get access to Edgenuity’s virtual instructors, live re-teaching when you need it, on demand tutoring and specific feedback from certified teachers. “The implementation of the new Elite structure has allowed my twins to become more responsible for their education. They are learning to be more accountable for understanding what is expected from them each day through the daily check-ins with their awesome academic advisor and in developing a wonderful teacher-student relationship. Thank you Bridgeway for caring enough about the student-athletes to go the extra mile to ensure academic success now and in the future. We are extremely grateful!” -Gina
