Singapore Math Homeschool Math Option
A visual approach to mathematics, Singapore Math starts by introducing first-grade homeschoolers to counting using blocks and pictures; teaches second grade students multiplication and division; and by fourth grade students are learning simple algebra.
A terrific option for the mathematically inclined homeschool student, Singapore Math focuses on mental math, taking students through the fundamentals while at the same time moving them to higher-level math skills.
Filled with critical thinking activities and word problems, Singapore Math challenges students to first master each skill, then take that skill to the next level with real-world applications. Singapore Math has courses for elementary, middle school and high school age students.
