Rosetta Stone Foreign Language
Bridgeway Academy now offers foreign language instruction on-line through our partnership with Rosetta Stone. This program can be used for homeschool students from elementary school through high school.
A popular choice for foreign language instruction, Rosetta Stone integrates audio, text and images to provide an immersion approach to language learning (no English translation used at any time).
Using pictures and words, the program sets the foundation for the student before moving on to phrases and full sentences. The progression continues by replacing simple objects and actions with ideas and concepts. By the end of level two, students are able to use conversations comfortably. By the end of level three, homeschoolers will have a confidence in conversation that they can continue to build on in future levels.
