About Us
Bridgeway Academy located in Catasauqua, PA was founded in 1989 as a Christian homeschool academy partnering with families seeking to provide a strong academic program in a home based environment.
Since our beginning, we have helped more than 20,000 K-12 students with diverse academic abilities and special interests to enjoy the rewards of a home-based education.
Now, Bridgeway Academy is a top choice among home schoolers. Why? Because at the heart of Bridgeway is a passion for homeschooling, a desire to build students of character and integrity, and a tremendous respect for your role as parent and teacher. Couple that with our strong academics and you have a program that exceeds expectations!
In order to meet the individual academic needs of each of our students, we offer homeschool curriculum choices from both Christian and secular textbook publishers. Each has been carefully reviewed for quality academics and each comes complete with a customized instructor’s guide that integrates biblical principles and studies and provides a variety of learning tools including interactive online activities, videos, hands on activities and additional reading that complements the instruction.
We are registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Education to issue diplomas and are accredited through the National Association of Private Schools. Pennsylvania has very strict standards for home schools and by exceeding those standards year after year, a Bridgeway education is recognized in all other states and abroad. It also means students armed with a Bridgeway diploma can receive scholarships, grants and financial aid when applying for college.
