Bridgeway Homeschool Academy ~ Flexible, Supportive, Individualized

Quite simply, I chose Bridgeway because they had curriculum choices that the other homeschool academies don’t.

Middle School Homeschool Courses

The sixth- through eighth-grade years of middle school entail changes as dramatic and significant as those of toddlers or full-fledged teens. It also presents opportunities for your child’s continued success in homeschooling, relationships and life. Preteens, so fragile despite their noisy insistence to the contrary, must be sheltered and yet given the freedom to explore the world around them. Bridgeway provides that environment by providing engaging courses as well as opportunities for students to use their own unique talents in our different art and writing contests throughout the school year. We also want to see each student challenged to succeed in every way and allowed the freedom to fail without stigma.

A Commitment to Character Education

Equally important is our commitment to character building through the reinforcement of traditional values. We believe that the incorporation of virtues such as honesty, responsibility, perseverance, sportsmanship and respect for others are as important to forming successful human beings as academic excellence. Therefore, we carefully select our courses to provide those character-building principles as well as strong academics. In addition, we customize the placement of each student to meet their current academic abilities as well as their plans for the future. ?
