Quite simply, I chose Bridgeway because they had curriculum choices that the other homeschool academies don’t.

What is Accreditation?
Accreditation differentiates schools that uphold the academic standards established at the local, national, and international level from those that do not. Such accreditation standards are consistent across all peer institutions. This consistency is what provides the confidence that allows colleges and universities to recognize our students and graduates. In fact, year after year Bridgeway Academy graduates are accepted to some of the most selective universities in the U.S.
Accreditation is an ongoing process in which we assess the needs of our students and families, set developmental and educational goals, establish a clear vision and mission that benefits our students, and continuously monitor our progress. Accreditation means consistent evaluation of our students, our successes and our shortcomings as well as a plan for improvement.
Before granting accreditation, accrediting bodies visit the school for an intense two to three days to evaluate all aspects of the program and to ensure that the school meets the standards necessary to become an accredited institution.
Why does Accreditation Matter?
Students and graduates who enroll in an accredited school like Bridgeway Academy are guaranteed to be recognized by schools, colleges and universities across the country and around the world. It means that Bridgeway Academy students and graduates are able to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Working with an accredited school means that students can transfer back into schools at the equivalent grade level, graduates can transition easily into colleges and universities, and career bound students are able to enter the workforce with a recognized high school diploma.
Accreditation also allows our students to take advantage of NCAA funding and other scholarships reserved for students attending an accredited school
