Homeschool Academies and Homeschooling Accreditation

Homeschool and Homeschooling Accreditation

Accredited Homeschooling requires significant resources to maintain

Laws vary from state to state a little on this but generally each home has to stand on its own as being an accredited institution of education.

What does this mean to you as a home schooling parent?

It is part of the decision you make in determining the 'method' of homeschooling your children. Unlike a public school or even a charter school, when you start homeschooling, the flexibility and the options open to you are multifaceted.

If you are going to go it alone it is very important you look at your state laws concerning home schooling and also contact your school district to ensure that you are following the guidelines for your state concerning accredited curriculum.

However it is pertinent to note that even if you follow the guidelines,  your homeschooled student may not obtain a high school diploma that is recognized or accepted.

Bridgeway Homeschool Academy is fully accredited by the National Association of Private Schools and is recognized by the state of Pennsylvania as a diploma granting institution. This makes our diploma just like any other high school diploma.

Bridgeway Homeschool Academy acts like an umbrella keeping you secure in the knowledge that your home schooling will be effective and that your student will find themselves with a genuine high school diploma from an established and accredited homeschooling academy.
